Simon Shines as Narrator in DDA Video

When Simon was invited to take part in a new hiking video to showcase DDA Day Programs, he jumped at the opportunity. What began as a fun outdoor project at the Capilano River Regional Park soon turned into something even more special — Simon not only appeared in the video but also became its narrator!

Working alongside DDA’s videographer, David Ozier, Simon brought enthusiasm, curiosity, and a natural storytelling charm to the project. He helped bring the hiking experience to life, showing how connection to nature and community can go hand-in-hand.

“Simon was an absolute pleasure to work with,” said David. “He was engaged, focused, and brought great energy to the shoot. You could tell he was proud of what he was doing — and he should be.”

The final video captures both the beauty of the outdoors in BC and Simon’s fun personality. For him, the experience was more than just a day on the trail — it was a chance to express himself, try something new, and share his joy with others.
