On April 14, 2019, I participated in the Vancouver Sun Run with Alan Brown. There was lots of excitement throughout the day, lots of participants, and many different bands playing.
During the race, there were a number of weather changes, starting off with hail and ending with sunshine in the afternoon. It was a very exciting event. At the end of the race, my parents were at the finish line to cheer me on!
Another exciting moment was that Alan Brown, who retired after almost 29 years with DDA, found that he missed supporting the individuals at Worthington. So he came out of retirement within nine months and also took part in the Sun Run.
We are very grateful to have him back making a positive difference in the lives of those at Worthington.
