DDA is pleased to announce the production of a new public service announcement (PSA), scheduled for release this March, led by DDA filmmaker David Ozier in collaboration with eastcherry media, one of Vancouver’s hottest production companies, which helped bring the PSA to life.
The PSA brings together creative partners who share a commitment to thoughtful storytelling and meaningful representation. David worked closely with DDA’s Communications Department, Day Programs, and Living Options throughout the process, from early planning through filming, ensuring the project aligned with DDA’s values and vision.
The concept for the PSA was developed and refined in partnership with Grant Fraggalosch of Alchemy Creative, whose creative expertise helped shape and polish the narrative. Together, the team focused on crafting a clear, engaging message that reflects DDA’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, respect, and representation.
Filming took place over one long day at Fred’s Restaurant on 4th Avenue in Vancouver on January 27th. Everyone had a lot of fun during filming, and it was a unique experience for all involved.

DDA is looking forward to sharing the finished PSA and celebrating the collaborative effort behind its creation.
It will be available March 30th, 2026 on DDA’s YouTube page: www.youtube.com/@develop604
