When Kathleen first started working with her Employment Specialist, one thing stood out right away — her love for animals. With her loyal dog, Nelly, by her side, it was clear that any job involving animals would be a natural fit. Together, they set out to find a role where that passion could shine.
That search led them to Tisol, a pet-focused workplace where the team was looking to hire a part-time stocker. Kathleen went into the interview with excitement and confidence — and it paid off! She was offered the job and officially joined the Tisol team in September 2023.
Since then, Kathleen has grown into a valued member of the store family. Her days are busy and rewarding — unloading trucks, stocking shelves, helping at the cash register, and supporting customers with their purchases. But what truly lights her up is meeting all the pets (and their owners!) who come through the doors.
Almost two years later, Kathleen’s hard work, positive energy, and dedication continue to shine. Her journey is a great reminder of what can happen when passion meets opportunity.
