Early in January, some of the Home Share folks gathered at Kaslo for a Holiday party. We had an afternoon of games, food, karaoke, and the Macarena! The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement, and it was a wonderful way to bring a close to the Holiday season. It was a unique opportunity to gather with a diverse group of people, all with a different story to tell.
We are very fortunate at DDA to have incredible Home Share providers, some of whom have been in this role for over 20 years. We are proud to be able to match individuals with developmental disabilities with a caregiver who not only supports their developmental needs, but match their personality, too. Sharing a home is such a meaningful and nurturing way to be a caregiver.
