DDA Donates Dozens of Toys This Holiday Season

Every holiday season, Vancouver Firefighters host their Toys for Kids program and Annual Christmas Wish Breakfast at the Pan Pacific Hotel in support of the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. Due to the pandemic, the past couple of years meant no in-person events, but now with all restrictions lifted, the force spent $47,000 dollars on toys and held its breakfast as it always has.

DDA is proud to be part of this event

For over 18 years, DDA’s Child and Family Services has collected food and toys for community families during the holiday season.

This year, we continued our support for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and held a toy drive at all of the programs and both of DDA’s office locations. A few of our Child Care Managers carried on the (very) early morning tradition of delivering the toys at the Pan Pacific Christmas Wish Breakfast. In fact, there were too many to bring and are forced to make a second trip!

We are very proud to be a part of giving back to others every year and offer a heartfelt thank you to the Vancouver fire department and all the work they do to inspire community support.
