Location: Richmond, BC
Start Date: March 1, 2025
Term/Status: Permanent Part Time
Schedule/Hours: Sunday 6:00-14:00, Monday 6:00-14:00 or 8:00-16:30 (shift times may vary based on department need) // 15 hours per week
Hourly Wage: $28.25 as per collective agreement
The Role:
The Scheduling Assistant assigns on-call shifts on a daily basis, and assists in the coordination of scheduling for the Client Services Department.

Requirements/Education/Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in area related to Staff Scheduling.
- Minimum one year experience in similar position or related duties.
- Proficient in MS Office, and intranet applications; Staff Scheduling systems an asset.
- Experience with shift management and staff scheduling activities is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with accurate processing of data and ability to detect irregularities.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
- Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidence.
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Criminal Record Clearance
- Medical Clearance
- Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
- Basic computer literacy
- Eligible to work in Canada
