JOB TITLE: SUMMER PROGRAM WORKER (GROUP HOMES) | #2202

LOCATION: Richmond, BC
TERM: Temporary Part Time
START DATE: June 15, 2026 (Ending August 07, 2026)
SCHEDULE/HRS: Monday to Friday 08:30-15:30 // 35 hours per week
HOURLY WAGE: $22.66 as per the collective agreement
The Role:
This position involves recreational programming, instruction, and assisting with activities of daily living. It involves representing the Association by participating in community events.

Requirements/Education/Experience:
- Experience in assisting individuals in all aspects of daily living (total personal care, feeding, bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Knowledge of and ability to work with challenging behaviors.
- Knowledge of and ability to deal effectively with behaviors associated with mental health, an asset.
- Post-secondary education or training in a related field.
- Must be between ages of 19-30 at intake time, legally entitled to work in Canada, and not hold another full time (30 or more hours) summer job.
- Direct experience with people with developmental disabilities.
- Training in behavior management techniques.
- Criminal Record Clearance
- Medical Clearance
- TB Test Clearance
- Demonstrated competency in English
- Basic computer literacy
- Must be Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold Refugee status
