JOB TITLE: SUMMER PROGRAM WORKER (ADMIN/ACCOUNTING) | #1535
SERVICE AREA: Administration
LOCATION: Remote work with one day in person in office
START DATE: Tentative start date of 16 May 2022, ending 26 August 2022
SCHEDULE/HRS: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri 8:00-16:00 // 37.5 hours per week
HOURLY WAGE: $18.00
The Program Worker will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting department with administrative tasks. Duties include but not limited to data entry of accounting records, scanning, filing documents, assisting in project accounting, and other duties as assigned. This position is subject to funding by Canada summer jobs. Position is conditional based on approval of application request by Service Canada.
Education & Experience:
• Post-secondary education or training in a related field
• Must be between ages of 19-30 at intake time, legally entitled to work in Canada
• Proficient in the use of office equipment and MS Office Suite.
Standard requirements of the Summer Program Worker include:
• Criminal Record Clearance
• Medical Clearance
• Demonstrated competency in English
• Basic computer literacy
• Must be Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold Refugee status
