TERM/STATUS: Permanent Full Time
SCHEDULE/HRS: Mon/Tues/Fri 08:30-16:00, Wed/Thurs 09:00-16:30 // 37.5 hours per week
HOURLY WAGE: $33.77 – $38.77 as per collective agreement

Requirements / Education / Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Social Sciences and/or degree or diploma in training people with developmental disabilities
- 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disability in their homes and community
- Experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs using a person centered, individualized approach
- Experience using augmentative and alternative forms of communication
- Flexible to adjust schedule when needed
- 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience
- Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
- Must be able to perform lifts and transfers of 40lbs
- Positive behaviour support experience and training
- Valid First Aid/CPR
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification
- Demonstrated competency in English
- Computer proficiency
- Criminal Record Clearance
- Medical Clearance
- TB Test Clearance
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted Driver’s License during probation period
- Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
- Eligible to work in Canada
