Job Title: Early Childhood Educator
Location: Kids at GF Strong (GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre)
Start Date: 01 April 2021 
Term/Status: Temporary Full Time (Ending September 30, 2021)
Hours: Monday to Friday 3-Week Rotation Week #1 7:30-15:30; Week #2 9:00-17:00; Week #3 9:30-17:30 // 37.5 hours per week
Hourly Wage: $23.90 per collective agreement

  • Completion of Early Childhood Education Certification
  • Related training in the area of children with special needs and/or under 3 training preferred
  • Minimum 1 year with integrated groups of pre-school aged children
  • Experience with special needs functional assessment, individual and group program design and evaluation
  • Experience in the area of Behavior Management
  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • Medical Clearance
  • Valid First Aid/CPR
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification (training provided, if needed)
  • Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Eligible to work in Canada
