On September 2nd, the backyard at Azure came alive with laughter, music, and the smell of a summer barbecue as clients and staff from several different homes gathered together for a celebration. The afternoon was all about friendship, community, and fun — and it didn’t disappoint.
Socrates was bursting with anticipation for his friend’s arrival. He took on the important role of helping to set up chairs and greeted everyone with a smile. When his friend finally appeared, his excitement was impossible to contain!
Rafael was equally proud to be the day’s host. He welcomed Marissa with open arms and couldn’t stop beaming about the chance to spend time with her. Hosting the event gave him a real sense of pride.
George and Arthur were drawn straight to the drumming circle, where they joined in with big smiles and steady beats. Arthur kept his eyes on the “Bubbly drink” station, clearly plotting the best way to get his hands on one!
Between the food, the laughter, and the rhythms of the drums, the afternoon felt like something truly special. By the end of the day, everyone agreed: this shouldn’t just be a one-time event — it deserves to become a yearly tradition.
We are deeply grateful for our beautiful backyard space at Azure. It gives us a welcoming place to gather, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the joy of being together. Here’s to many more backyard barbecues and drumming parties in the years to come!
