Residential Care Workers care for adults with developmental disabilities in group homes, usually working afternoon or night shifts, any day of the week, for casual/on call and permanent positions.

This positions requires a degree or diploma in working with adults with developmental disabilities or, in a related field such as Social Sciences, Education or Psychology. You must have one or two years of experience working with developmentally disabled adults. You must have first aid and CPR, and have a class 5 drivers' license, unless the site you are working at requires a class 4 license.

Wages start at $17.36 per hour, with yearly increases.
