Community Support Workers

Community Support Workers care for adults with developmental disabilities at community sites typically, working day shifts Monday to Friday, for casual/on call and permanent positions.

This position requires a degree or diploma pertaining to adults with developmental disabilities or, in a related field such as Social Sciences, Education or Psychology. You have experience working with developmentally disabled people in a variety of vocational and community settings, and have the ability to implement teaching and other support programs for participants. You must have first aid and CPR and a class 4 driver's license.

Wages start at $17.36 per hour, with yearly increases.
