Thank you for your interest in supporting Developmental Disabilties Association, a registered charity. Host a clothing drive with our Cash4Clothes program and earn money for every bag of clothing.
Donate your clothing, housewares and bottles to our donation bins in Greater Vancouver.
With your donation, you are supporting much needed programs and services that make genuine differences in the lives of people with developmental disabilities. You may designate your gift to our Greatest Need Fund, or towards a specific DDA program of your choice. Did you know $26 can provide one child hot lunch at our child development centres for one month? A donation of $50 can provide an hour pre-employment workshop to help people with developmental disabilities find work placements.
Please call Shazia Jafri at 604-233-5459.
You may also donate by sending a cheque addressed to:

*Tax receipts are issued for donations $10 and greater.
DDA has many volunteer opportunities available in each of our program areas. Please contact the Director in the program area of your choice. Contact information can be found in the Department Contact section of this website
Cash 4 Clothes is a great way to raise money for your organization or team, as well as to support children and adults with developmental disabilities. DDA supports your clothing drive every step of the way. Here’s how it works:
Collect between 75 to 150 full bags at one time, and receive $2.00 per bag
Collect over 151 full bags at one time, and receive $3.00 per bag
It’s that simple! Once your clothing drive is over, we will come and pick up all the bags.
We also accept housewares as part of our Cash 4 Clothes program. These items must be bagged separately and may include dishes, pots and pans, books and glassware. “Hard items” and “soft items” must be separated into two different bag colours. For a complete list of acceptable items, please visit our acceptable items list.
Register your group today and receive your Cash 4 Clothes starter kit, which includes donation bags and a Cash 4 Clothes poster to display at your school, team room or organization.
Gather up your friends, family, and colleagues and host a “third-party” fundraising event in efforts to support DDA. Whether you are hosting an informal event, clothing drive or gala, DDA is honoured to be the beneficiary of your event proceeds – funds that will help fund programs and services to people with developmental disabilities in Vancouev rand Richmond. We will be pleased to lend support, advice and assistance with your event.
