To make donating clothes and bottles easier, we have positioned clothing donation bins throughout Vancouver, Richmond, and the Lower Mainland. Find a clothing or bottle donation bin near you by searching with your postal code:
In addition to using these donations to fund programs for people with developmental disabilities, the Developmental Disabilities Association uses the funds to assist those in need while being environmentally friendly.
What happens to these donations? DDA has built a valuable relationship with Value Village by acting as a supplier with the sale of the donated clothing and housewares. Value Village resells the clothes and housewares in their eleven stores. The Developmental Disabilities Association is keen to create marketplaces that provide access to reusable products at a reasonably inexpensive cost.
All donations towards the DDA, regardless of it being clothes, bottles, or housewares, help our environment through recycling. More information about how the DDA is committed to environmental sustainability can be found here.
